Manpreet Kalra has obtained her Bachelor of Arts from the PPN College of Kanpur and PGPD (H.I) – MPBOU from Bhopal. After her years of serving in the corporate world, she wanted a shift towards a career where she would be able to contribute to the well-being of the society. As an educator, she became fascinated by the young children's language and early literacy development techniques, and by how language and literacy set the foundation for strong academic learning.

Manpreet designed and developed lessons that elicit the development and usage of background knowledge, speech & language, and simulate vocabulary. As an educator, she is particularly interested in those children who appeared to have difficulties acquiring language and early literacy skills. To pursue this interest further, in 2016 Manpreet founded Divyang Development Society to help empower deaf and hard of hearing children in their combat against silence and let them express themselves.
