​When young deaf or hard of hearing people are not adequately prepared for independent living, they find the transition into adulthood very difficult. They often lack the necessary skills to find and keep a stable job. Divyang Development Society's Deaf Empowerment program works with the same philosophy.

Since its inception, the team at Divyang Development Society has been continuously working towards increasing employment opportunities for people, especially youth. Efforts of caregivers, mentors and team at Divyang Development Society contribute to increasing opportunities for employment which include improving access to early education and higher education; ensuring the availability and provision of vocational rehabilitation services; allowing children to develop mastery in creative activities by fostering creative atmosphere at the foundation.
