Early Intervention
Early identification of children who are born deaf or hard of hearing is critical to ensure that these children's families have the right resources they require in order to help their children acquire communication techniques, spoken or / and visual and achieve age-appropriate academic, social, cognitive and emotional development.
The acquisition of language apt for day-to-day communication from birth is a human right. Deaf and hard of hearing children should be provided with the opportunity to express themselves by allowing them to adapt to a fully accessible visual language as early as possible, in addition to the opportunity to learn the spoken language used by their families with the help of available assistive technologies.

At Divyang Development Society we support parents of deaf or hard of hearing children by providing them with proper counseling and support them in understanding their child's needs better.
